El Paletero visits on it’s way to Sonoma

I was invited to participate in the exhibit Crossing the Invisible Line: The Art of Immigration. The show dealing with the issue of immigration will be at Sonoma State University and will include fine art alongside historical artifacts.

The Chinese Historical Society in San Francisco and the Sonoma County Museum will be lending artifacts.  These will be shown along with photos and immigration papers from Japanese and Italian immigrants that will be displayed in cases.

The pieces selected for the show were the Veterano and the original Paletero that the owners Richard & Patty were gracious enough to loan.

Revolutionaries

Revolutionaries opening reception last night was a “great success” and garnered an “overwhelmingly positive response, more then any other show I’ve put on” said Kirk Pedersen, owner of Pedersen Projects.

If you missed last nights opening, Revolutionaries will be up through May.
