A few artist were selected to speak about their work featured in Estampas de la Raza exhibition. Oscar spoke with Jennifer Dasal, associate curator of contemporary art at the North Carolina Museum of Art for their quarterly magazine “Preview”. With 35 works “A Movement in Two Parts” is to date the largest public exhibition by Oscar.
Oscar’s fall cover for La Gente Newsmagazine at UCLA won best visual for La Gente. This marks the first time La Gente wins the award since it’s founding in 1971.
