“Filero” part of series of images dealing with gentrification as a form of erasure and dissipation of political energy in communities that have suffered systematic violence, criminalization, segregation, police brutality, inadequate schools, etc., etc.

He has selected the following artists whose work focuses on migration and immigration: Nery Gabriel Lemus, Oscar Magallanes, Antonio Pelayo, Eric Almanza and San Jose pure-fiber artist Consuelo Jimenez Underwood.
